Systems, Silhouettes, Synchronicities
Systems, Silhouettes, Synchronicities is a contemporary art exhibition featuring works by
Anni Kumari and Isha Pimpalkhare.
The exhibition brings together two distinct yet interconnected artistic practices that examine the underlying systems shaping the natural world, the cosmos, and human experience. Through abstraction and material exploration, the exhibition invites viewers to engage with the balance between structure and ambiguity, logic and intuition, and the explicable and inexplicable forces that inform artistic expression.
Anni Kumari’s practice explores cosmological, mathematical, and philosophical systems through dense, interdependent structures formed using optical illusions, algorithms, and numerical sequences. In contrast, Isha Pimpalkhare’s textile-based works address themes of fragility, interdependence, and ecological sensitivity, employing concentric patterns, linear frameworks, and fluid silhouettes to reflect the delicate relationship between humans and their environment. Together, their practices form a cohesive visual and conceptual dialogue rooted in synchronicity.

The exhibition is presented at Tao Art Gallery, Mumbai, a leading contemporary art space established in 2000 and widely recognized for its thoughtfully curated, concept-driven exhibitions.
