Grams Per Square Matter

Grams Per Square Matter, at Pulp Society, brings together artists from the Common Ground Collective to explore paper as both medium and material. Drawing from the concept of GSM, a unit that measures the weight and density of paper, the exhibition reflects on how surface, structure and process shape artistic expression.
Through experimental and intentional approaches, the works engage with paper not just as a support but as an active participant in making. Each artist navigates gesture, texture and materiality differently, creating a shared dialogue that balances individuality with collective exploration.
Together, the exhibition offers a thoughtful engagement with material, process and the evolving possibilities of working with paper.
