Bhagwat Sapkale, born on 1st June 1979 in Phupani, Maharashtra, is an accomplished artist whose journey is rooted in resilience, dedication, and a deep love for nature. Encouraged by his family, he pursued formal art training at Dhule Adarsh Vitrakala School and Saptpur Lalit Kala Bhavan before beginning his career as an art teacher in Mumbai in 2006. Alongside teaching, he continues his true passion—painting—which he considers a divine medium of expression. His work has been showcased in renowned venues such as Jehangir Art Gallery and Nehru Centre, and he holds a world record for painting 200 landscapes in five hours. Honored with awards like the Udyamsheela Award, Kala Upadhyay Award, National Award, and Mahatma Gandhi Darshan Award, he remains inspired by nature, his lifelong guide.
