Description
This painting was such a soulful experience for me. I remember feeling deeply connected while creating it — almost like I was in a meditative space myself. But at the same time, I didn’t want to paint Buddha the way we’ve always seen him. I wanted to bring a sense of now into the stillness — a kind of bold, pop-art expression of what spirituality feels like in today’s world.
The circular canvas felt perfect — like a symbol of wholeness, no beginning or end — just like the inner peace we’re all trying to find. I used bold lines, vibrant colors, and graphic contrasts because, for me, enlightenment isn’t always soft and quiet. Sometimes, it’s loud. It’s layered. It demands attention.
This painting is my way of saying that the Buddha doesn’t just sit in temples — he exists in the chaos too, in color, in culture, and in all of us trying to return to our center.
