I am a passionate artist with over 15 years of professional experience and a deep commitment to visual storytelling through various artistic mediums.
My journey in art began with a specialization in sculpture at Shanthi Niketana School of Art in Chickmaglur, Karnataka (2001–2006). Later, I earned a Master’s degree in Visual Art (Painting), securing the first rank at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore (2018–2020).
Throughout my artistic career, I have explored different forms and styles—from traditional sculptures to contemporary mixed media and digital expression. My artworks reflect a strong sense of creativity and innovation, driven by my keen observation and conceptual depth. Over the years, I’ve created murals, paintings, and three-dimensional sculptures using stone, wood, plaster, and metal, often blending manual techniques with digital processes.
In addition to my artistic practice, I have served as an art teacher for more than 8 years, helping students explore and express themselves through contemporary and digital visual arts. I currently work as a visiting lecturer at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath and have also taken up the role of curator at DWIJA, a conservation society for art and cultural heritage.
My work has been recognized nationally through several awards and grants, including honors from the Lalit Kala Akademi (2014, 2023), and commendation at the 25th All India Art Contest by SCZCC Nagpur. I’ve had the privilege of participating in numerous joint exhibitions across the country, including prestigious venues like Jehangir Art Gallery (Mumbai), Nehru Centre (Mumbai), Lalit Kala Akademi (Delhi), and Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath (Bangalore).
I’ve also actively taken part in multiple workshops and camps that enriched my creative skills—from state-level sculpture camps to painting and terracotta workshops organized by renowned institutions like Kannada University, Shilpakala Academy, and the Camlin Art Foundation.
With a commitment to continually upgrading my craft and contributing meaningfully to the art community, I strive to bring originality, emotion, and form to every piece I create. My aim is to merge traditional craftsmanship with contemporary thought, always seeking to inspire and connect with viewers on a deeper level.
