Artist Biography – Deepthi Mallya

I am a passionate and versatile self-taught artist whose creative journey blossomed from the heart of my home. A dedicated housewife turned professional artist, i have transformed my lifelong love for drawing and painting into a flourishing artistic expression across a wide variety of mediums and styles.

Specializing in mandala art, I create intricate and meditative patterns through freehand mandalas, dot mandalas, and ornate mandalas—each piece reflecting symmetry, mindfulness, and spiritual balance. My ornate mandalas, painted using gouache, are rich in detail and depth, while my dot mandalas exhibit rhythmic precision and vibrant harmony.

I also work with coffee painting, producing sepia-toned masterpieces that exude warmth, nostalgia, and earthy elegance. My love for traditional Indian art is expressed through stunning Kerala mural paintings, rooted in culture and mythology, all rendered with my signature attention to detail.

Venturing into functional art, my crafts hand-painted MDF rangolis, tea light candle holders, envelopes and coasters bringing festive charm and color into everyday spaces. My choice of materials ranges from acrylics and gouache to natural mediums like coffee, adapting each to suit the vision of my artwork.

Every creation of mine is a blend of passion, patience, and precision. What began as a hobby and form of personal fulfillment has now evolved into a meaningful and professional pursuit—where art is not just something I do, but a reflection of who I am.
