Vendor Biography
I am Vijayakaranti V. Naik (Salgare), born on 10th June 1972. I hold a G.D. Art, A.T.D., and a B.A. degree from Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya, Pune. My journey as an artist began with participation in group exhibitions, including one at Art Plaza, Bombay, on 23rd January 1993. I also took part in the All India Exhibition of Art in 1990, which was sponsored by Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya. I was honored with the Shri M.G. Palshikar Award for Architectural Sketching in 1990. My artworks are included in reputed collections such as Lakhanpal Limited, Bombay.
In addition to exhibiting my art, I have contributed to several creative and educational initiatives. I participated in an art workshop under the guidance of Besmer and conducted an educational workshop for children at Adarsh Mahavidyalaya, Pune, in 1992. I also have skills in Desktop Publishing (DTP).
As an educator, I bring over 18 years of experience in teaching art. I worked at Vidya Jyoti School in Pune for one year (1991–1992), and I have been serving at Nagarjuna Public School, Nanded, for the past 17 years, where I continue to share my passion for art with young learners.
